In 20 patients with melanoma and 8 healthy donors the number of lymphocytes binding type-specific immunoglobulin in peripheral blood was determined by the method of direct immunoluminescence. The content of B-and T-lymphocytes was calculated. The results obtained made it possible to find some regularities with respect to the cell concent of lymphocytes population in patients with melanoma. High values of T-cell amount were revealed mostly in the absence of metastases, the most high indices being observed in patients with prolonged absence of the recurrence and metastases after their surgical removal. There is a tendency to an increased number of T-lymphocytes under the influence of the combination treatment- surgical and pharmacological. In unfavourable course of the disease with metastasization and generalization the fall was noted in the number of T-cells.
