Trametinib for progressive pediatric low-grade gliomas

Trametinib shows promise for treating pediatric pilocytic astrocytomas (PAs) that resist conventional therapies. This MEK inhibitor demonstrated positive responses and improved quality of life in children with refractory low-grade gliomas.
