Sustained versus instantaneous connectivity differentiates cognitive functions of processing speed and episodic

We introduce sustained connectivity, a new brain activity metric, to measure synchronous activity duration. This reproducible and heritable trait shows sex and age differences and links to processing speed, offering new insights into brain dynamics.
