Impact of Periampullary Diverticulum on ERCP Performance: A Matched Case-Control Study

Periampullary diverticulum (PAD) does not hinder endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) success. This study found similar therapeutic outcomes for ERCP in patients with PAD compared to controls, including for gallstone removal.
