Summary

Regular physical activity, even when accumulated on just one or two days per week, significantly reduces mortality risk. This highlights the importance of any amount of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) for longevity.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the association between physical activity accumulation patterns and mortality risk.

  • To examine the impact of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) bout frequency and duration on mortality.
