Summary
Superficial partial thickness burns in the pubic region are prone to contamination. Biobrane™ dressing, combined with shaving and catheterization, offers a single-application solution for effective wound healing and improved patient dignity.

Observation:
- Two patients with superficial dermal burns on the pubic region and surrounding areas (23% and 10% TBSA) were treated.
- Initial management included standard resuscitation, shaving, Foley catheterization, and Biobrane™ application.
- Wound healing was uneventful, with full epithelization achieved by postoperative day seven in both cases.

- The combination of shaving, catheterization, and Biobrane™ dressing effectively managed superficial pubic burns.
- This approach improved wound hygiene and eliminated the need for frequent, painful dressing changes.
- Biobrane™ facilitated uncomplicated healing and preserved patient dignity.

- This case series suggests Biobrane™ is a viable and patient-centered treatment option for superficial partial thickness burns in the pubic region.
