T-cell transcriptomics from peripheral blood highlights differences between polymyositis and dermatomyositis

Investigating T cells in polymyositis (PM) and dermatomyositis (DM) revealed significant gene expression differences in CD8+ T cells, suggesting distinct immune mechanisms in these idiopathic inflammatory myopathies.
