    Background:

    • Vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) is an important model system for studying RNA virus replication.
    • The nucleocapsid (N) protein and phosphoprotein (NS) are key components of the VSV replication machinery.

    • To investigate the interaction between the VSV N protein and NS protein in an in vitro RNA replication system.
    • To characterize the complexes formed between N and NS proteins.
