Predicting attention deficit hyperactivity disorder using pregnancy and birth characteristics

Maternal smoking during pregnancy and low Apgar scores at one minute increase the risk of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. These findings highlight preventable risk factors for ADHD development.
