  • Heart block following blunt cardiac injury, though rare, requires early clinical recognition.
  • Prolonged or recurrent episodes of heart block in this context typically warrant permanent pacemaker insertion.
  • This case highlights the importance of cardiac monitoring in patients with significant blunt chest trauma.
