Preliminary observations of mitochondrial dysfunction in Prader-Willi syndrome

Mitochondrial dysfunction may contribute to Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). This study found reduced cellular respiration in PWS patients, suggesting impaired energy production. Further research is needed to confirm these findings in a larger population.
