Background:

Severe borderline personality disorder (BPD) presents challenges in management.
BPD symptoms include psychosis, aggression, and violence.
Clozapine is an atypical antipsychotic with demonstrated efficacy in psychotic and mood disorders, and in reducing aggression and suicidality.

Purpose of the Study:

To explore the potential utility of clozapine in managing severe borderline personality disorder.
To present a case study illustrating the clinical effects of clozapine in a patient with severe BPD.

Main Methods:

Case report of a 36-year-old female with severe BPD.
Treatment with clozapine was administered.
Clinical outcomes were assessed.
