  • To identify common cancer types diagnosed during pregnancy and postpartum.

  • Utilized data from five US health plans (2001-2013) including administrative claims and electronic health records.
  • Included pregnancies in women aged 10-54 years, defining PAC as cancer diagnosed during pregnancy up to one year postpartum.
  • Extracted data from tumor registries and birth certificate files for comprehensive analysis.

  • Identified 846 PAC events among 775,709 pregnancies, with an overall incidence of 109.1 per 100,000 pregnancies.
