Expanding intestinal segment using osmotic hydrogel: An in vivo study

An endoluminal osmotic hydrogel expander (EOHE) safely expanded rabbit intestines, increasing length by over 160%. This novel approach shows promise for treating short bowel syndrome by enabling bowel lengthening procedures.
