Recurrent aphthous stomatitis and gene variability in selected interleukins: a case-control study.

Genetic variations in interleukin-10 (IL-10) are linked to an increased risk of recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS). This study investigated immune system genes in Czech patients, finding IL-10 gene variability plays a key role in RAS development.
