    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the peritoneal inflammatory response to various silicone oils in mice.
    • To compare the effects of different silicone oil viscosities and fluorination on inflammation.

    • Injection of silicone oils (200, 1000, 5000 cSt) and fluorinated silicone oil (5000 cSt) into the mouse peritoneum.
