    • To assess hospital nurses' attitudes and expectations regarding the current CNE program in Beijing.
    • To identify motivations and barriers influencing CNE participation among nurses.

    • A survey was conducted among 2,826 hospital-employed nurses.
    • Data was collected from 23 secondary and tertiary general hospitals in Beijing using self-administered questionnaires.
