A new acid-free p-dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde (DMAC) spray with silicone oil effectively visualizes biological samples on clothing for touch DNA analysis. This method, combined with blue LED light, shows no adverse effects on short tandem repeat (STR) DNA analysis.
