Roads do not increase carrion use by a vertebrate scavenging community

Wildlife-vehicle collisions create carrion, a food source for scavengers. This study found that scavengers utilized carcasses equally across roads, power lines, and forests, suggesting factors beyond food availability influence their behavior.
