  • To report on familial cases of Becker's nevus.
  • To consolidate existing literature on familial BN.

  • Four new familial cases of BN from two families are presented.
  • An additional four cases from German literature are included.
  • A total of 10 familial BN cases are now documented.
  • All three clinical subtypes of BN were observed.

Conclusions:

  • Familial Becker's nevus can present with various clinical types.
  • Further investigation into the genetic basis of familial BN is warranted.
