  • Diagnostic workup included autofluorescence, OCT, ultrasound, ocular CT, and laboratory analysis.
  • Idiopathic SCC was diagnosed after thorough investigation.

Findings:

  • The patient exhibited characteristic lesions of sclerochoroidal calcification.
  • Comprehensive ophthalmological and systemic studies were crucial for diagnosis.
  • No associated endocrine diseases were identified in this case.

Implications:

  • SCC necessitates a thorough ophthalmological and systemic workup to exclude associated endocrine disorders.
  • Regular follow-up is recommended to monitor for complications like RPE atrophy or neovascularization.
  • Accurate differential diagnosis between benign SCC and malignant lesions is vital to prevent unwarranted treatments.
