Hyaluronan (HA)-based sperm selection does not improve fertilization or embryo quality compared to conventional polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) methods in IVF-ICSI. The PVP technique resulted in more embryos with superior morphology, suggesting it is a more practical routine method.
