Abstract:
Following a very brief, simplified explanation of magnetic resonance imaging principles, the general advantages inherent in such a system, as compared to CT, are explored. Clinical exploitation of MRI's attributes are then specifically discussed and illustrated in multiple types of intracranial pathology.
