The mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR)/4E-binding protein 1 (4E-BP1)/eukaryotic initiation factor 4E (eIF4E) pathway is altered in canine prostate cancer (PC). Higher p-mTOR and eIF4E protein levels correlate with higher Gleason scores in canine PC.
