A new diffusion imaging sequence, diffusion-prepared magnitude-stabilized balanced steady-state free precession (DP-MS-bSSFP), offers improved geometric accuracy and high-quality diffusion-weighted images. This method minimizes distortion, outperforming conventional echo-planar imaging for diffusion tensor imaging.
