Can MoCA and MMSE Be Interchangeable Cognitive Screening Tools? A Systematic Review.

The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is more sensitive than the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) for detecting neurocognitive disorders (NCD). Adjusting MoCA cutoffs for education level is recommended to improve accuracy in screening for cognitive impairment.
