Purpose of the Study:

  • To apply the Centiloid method to [18F]flutemetamol and [11C]PiB PET images.
  • To derive a scaling factor for expressing [18F]flutemetamol binding in Centiloid units.
  • To validate the Centiloid method across different image processing pipelines.

Main Methods:

  • Paired [18F]flutemetamol and [11C]PiB PET scans from 74 subjects were analyzed using the standard Centiloid method.
  • Analyses were performed using PMOD, FSL, and SPM8 pipelines.
  • Test-retest reliability was assessed in 10 Alzheimer's disease subjects.
