Background:

Convergent care research offers a structured approach to integrating diverse data sources.

Observation:

The study utilized convergent care research methodology in a university hospital setting.
Data collection and analysis occurred over a six-month period with 27 participants.

Findings:

The research successfully navigated stages including conception, instrumentation, screening, and analysis.
A comprehensive nursing care protocol for day zero of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was developed.

Implications:

Convergent care research proved suitable for creating specialized nursing protocols.
The developed protocol enhances the integration of theoretical knowledge into clinical practice, improving professional nursing standards.
