Abstract:
The 4th International Skin Integrity and Infection Prevention conference, in hosted by the Journal of Wound Care and the University of Huddersfield, was held in Las Vegas. The last in our series of reports, which describe the key points discussed at the sponsored symposia, looked at wound bed preparation, concentrating on debriding a wound using a surfactant gel when sharp debridement is not an option.
