Does Epicardial Adipose Tissue Influence Postoperative Atrial Fibrillation?

Loop diuretics strongly associate with postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF) after cardiac surgery. A higher ratio of left atrial epicardial adipose tissue (LA EAT) to total EAT also showed a significant link to POAF.
