Abstract:
It has been brought to our attention that the paper entitled “Diagnostic efficacy of adenosine deaminase levels in cerebrospinal fluid in patients of tubercular meningitis: A comparison with polymerase chain reaction for Mycobacterium tuberculosis” [Ann of Neurosciences 2010; 17(3): 126–130] written by Chacko F, Modi M, Lal V, Prabhakar S, Rana SV, Arora SK, submitted by the second author has been found to be simultaneously published in another journal with many of the authors being common. (Please also see our Expression of Concern published in 2015). The editors have informed the Institute of this duplication. Now, the corresponding author has communicated to us and retracted the above-mentioned paper. We apologize to those scientists and committees who might have been influenced by the content and conclusions of the this paper published in Annals of Neurosciences. The Editors
