The association between serum testosterone and insulin resistance: a longitudinal study

Low testosterone levels in men predict future insulin resistance, but high insulin resistance does not predict future low testosterone. This prospective study highlights a one-way relationship between these key health markers.

- Findings suggest testosterone deficiency may be a risk factor for metabolic dysfunction.
