  • CT imaging indicated mild soft tissue swelling in the affected area.

Findings:

  • Histopathological analysis confirmed a cystic lesion lined by ameloblastoma-like epithelium with ghost cells.
  • The lesion was diagnosed as a peripheral Calcifying Odontogenic Cyst.
  • The patient remained disease-free for 5 years post-excision.

Implications:

  • Peripheral COC, though uncommon, warrants consideration in the differential diagnosis of gingival hyperplastic lesions.
