Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) worsen Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) by disrupting gut microbiota and epithelial integrity. This study reveals NSAID-induced prostaglandin deregulation exacerbates CDI severity and pathology in mice.
