Summary

Cysteinyl leukotrienes (CysLTs) play a role in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). Higher CysLT1 receptor expression in nasal polyps of CRS patients, especially those with allergies, suggests CysLTs are key in CRS pathogenesis.
