Main Methods:

  • Human lung tissue samples (healthy, carcinoma, lymph nodes) were fixed using microwave irradiation with Tris buffer, formalin, NaCl, DMSO, acetone, methanol, and glutaraldehyde.

    • The Tris buffer microwave fixation technique is environmentally friendlier than formalin fixation.
