  • Non-selective predator control may paradoxically favor species with higher reproductive and dispersal rates, such as the red fox.
  • Understanding the community-structuring effects of predator control is essential to avoid unintended consequences.
  • Issues like illegal killing and biased information on control measures hinder effective wildlife management.
