miR-106a contributes to prostate carcinoma progression through PTEN

Upregulated microRNA-106a (miR-106a) promotes prostate cancer cell growth by targeting the PTEN gene. Inhibiting miR-106a suppressed tumor growth, suggesting miR-106a as a potential therapeutic target for prostate cancer.
