Training of laparoscopic novices both individually and in dyads using a simulation task

Novice surgeons showed significant skill improvement in a laparoscopic task, whether training individually or in pairs. Dyads demonstrated fewer ring-wire contacts and more anticipatory movements, indicating comparable learning curves for both training methods.
