Objective:
With the continuous advancement of modern medical science and technology, critical care medicine is getting more and more attention from hospital administrators, and has become an important embodiment of the comprehensive strength of a hospital, especially a university affiliated hospital or a third-grade class-A hospital. This paper aims to explain the status, role, contribution and construction approaches of critical care medicine in modern medicine and modern general hospitals from the perspective of third-grade class-A hospital administrators, and to propose noteworthy key links for future construction of critical care medicine based on actual situation.
