Summary

High-resolution body surface potential mapping (HR-BSPM) during exercise shows improved accuracy for detecting ischemic heart disease (IHD) compared to standard ECG tests. HR-BSPM offers higher sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing IHD.

  • HR-BSPM offers superior diagnostic performance over standard 12-lead ECG exercise testing.
  • Further research into optimizing lead number and position for exercise ECG testing is warranted.
