Abstract:
The asymmetric ion diffusion phenomenon through a 2D nanofluidic thickness gradient membrane under a concentration gradient is reported. The preferential direction for ion diffusion is from the thick side toward the thin side of the geometry-asymmetric graphene oxide membranes, which is attributed to the difference in charge selectivity.
