  • To equip trainees with skills for documenting academic achievements and navigating faculty evaluation.

  • Trainees learned about core terms, CV/portfolio comparison, and promotion package submission.
  • Content documentation for academic CVs, portfolios, and promotion packages was emphasized.

  • Over 90% agreed workshop objectives were met, citing improved understanding of faculty evaluation.
  • Participants reported immediate increases in confidence to negotiate appointment and promotion processes.

  • Increased confidence may help retain diverse trainees in academic medicine, but further monitoring is needed.
