  • Circulating adiponectin concentration is strongly associated with various cardio-metabolic traits in Mexican children.
  • The investigated genetic variants in ADIPOQ, ADIPOR1, and ADIPOR2 do not appear to significantly influence adiponectin levels or cardio-metabolic health in this specific pediatric cohort.
