Summary

Ultra-fast high-pitch dual-source computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) offers superior image quality and reduced scan times compared to conventional methods. This advanced technique also significantly lowers radiation doses for patients undergoing pulmonary embolism diagnosis.

  • To compare the efficacy of ultra-fast high-pitch dual-source CTPA with conventional standard-pitch single-source CTPA.
  • To evaluate differences in image quality, scan acquisition time, and radiation dose between the two CTPA techniques.

  • A retrospective comparative study involving 130 patients divided into two groups: single-source CT (Group-1) and dual-source CT (Group-2).
