    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate bone loss in turkey ulnae due to calcium deficiency.
    • To assess the impact of disuse on calcium-deficient bone.
    • To evaluate the efficacy of intermittent loading in preventing bone loss.

    • Egg-laying turkeys were fed a calcium-deficient diet.
    • Ulna cross-sectional area was measured over six weeks.
