Hypertriglyceridemia and Its Association with HbA1c Test: A Prospective In Vivo Controlled Study

High triglyceride levels do not affect HbA1c test results. This study confirms that clinicians can reliably use HbA1c to monitor diabetes management, even with hypertriglyceridemia.
