A three-dimensional graphics system for the stereotactic placement of heavy-ion beams
Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine
|August 1, 1986
Abstract:
A beam placement system for the heavy ion radiation treatment of intracranial arteriovenous malformations (AVM) is discussed. Heavy ion Bragg peak beams are used due to the depth dose distributions. The user interface and design for this computer system is described within this paper.
