Mindfulness-based therapy modulates default-mode network connectivity in patients with opioid dependence

Mindfulness-based therapy (MBT) shows promise for treating opiate dependence by altering brain connectivity. This study found MBT reduced anterior default mode network (DMN) connectivity, associated with increased mindfulness.
