    Summary

    The acute bromocriptine test better predicts long-term treatment success in acromegaly than TRH tests or PRL levels. Some patients require increasing bromocriptine doses to control growth hormone (GH) levels.

    • Acromegaly is a disorder caused by excess growth hormone (GH).
